In response to the global decarbonization trend, National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) and Singapore-based Cedars Digital signed an MOU on March 25 to cultivate carbon management professionals in the Asia-Pacific region. Vice President Dr. Kwunmin Chen emphasized the collaboration\u2019s goal of integrating academic and industry resources to equip enterprises with essential green talent. Dr. Shin-Cheng Yeh, Professor at Graduate Institute of Sustainability Management and Environmental Education, highlighted the urgent need for professionals who can bridge science and practical implementation.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

The curriculum covers carbon inventory (ISO 14064-1), carbon neutrality planning, and international climate policies, complemented by Cedars Digital CEO Torrent Chin\u2019s AI-powered platform “CarbonM” for hands-on training. Cedars Digital will also provide students with internships, certification support, and job opportunities. The partnership aims to train over 1,000 professionals within three years, supporting industries in achieving net-zero emissions by 2050.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
