Program Summary:
- Up to five students can be admitted annually.
- The study period is one year (can be extended to two years).
- Students only need to pay tuition fees to the sending institution (NTNU), and are exempt from paying tuition fees to the receiving institution (Niigata University).
- Supervisors will be assigned by both universities.
- Students are required to complete and submit one English thesis to each university respectively, and undergo separate oral defenses.
Application Deadline:
- Applicants should contact the Office of the Dean of the College of Science, NTNU, by Thursday, March 30, 2025, 5:00 PM (Taiwan Time).
Important Dates:
- Before March 30, 2025: Submit applications to the Office of the Dean of the College of Science, NTNU.
- April 16 to April 18, 2025, 4:00 PM (Japan Time): Niigata University application period.
- May 15 to May 29, 2025: Niigata University entrance interviews (the university will notify applicants of the scheduled interview date by department, expected to be one day).
- July 3, 2025, 12:00 PM: Announcement of admitted students.
- October 2025: Enrollment.
