To assist students in understanding the regulations related to military service, the following information is provided for male students who have not yet completed their conscription and plan to participate in overseas exchange or dual-degree programs.
1. For college- or department-recommended exchange students, the Exit Permit Application Form for Conscription-Status Students does not require the stamp of the Office of International Affairs (OIA).
A signature/stamp from the recommending unit is sufficient.
2. Students must submit the Exit Permit Application to the Division of Student Assistance at least 30 days before departure.

Required documents include:
- List of outbound students
- Copy of the admission/acceptance letter from the host institution
- Copy of the student’s passport
- Parental consent form
- Copy of the official nomination letter or signed approval document
