Announcement on the Application Opening and Important Reminders for the 115-1 Study Abroad Subsidy (Including MOE Scholarship)

I. Subject

This notice is to inform all students under the College of Science who will participate in Exchange, Dual Degree, or Visiting Student Programs regarding the application schedules, key reminders, and required documents for the “115-1 Study Abroad Subsidy” and the “115 MOE Elite Scholarship (學海飛颺).” Applications must be submitted by the deadlines, with no exceptions for late submissions.

II. Eligibility and Application Channels

Applicants must select the corresponding application system based on their study abroad channel:

  1. For University/College/Department Exchange Students:

  2. For University/College/Department Dual Degree & Visiting Students:

III. Key Dates and Deadlines

A. 115-1 Study Abroad Subsidy

  • Expected Application Open Date: Monday, December 1, 115 (2026)
  • APPLICATION DEADLINE: Monday, May 4, 115 (2026)
  • Reminder: This deadline applies to all study abroad channels. Late applications will not be accepted.

B. 115 MOE Elite Scholarship (學海飛颺)

  • Opens Concurrently with the Study Abroad Subsidy.
  • APPLICATION DEADLINE: Tuesday, February 24, 115 (2026)
  • Reminder: This deadline is significantly earlier; please prepare well in advance.

IV. Critical Application Reminders

  1. [GPA REQUIREMENT] The application system links to the Academic Affairs system to retrieve GPA data. All applicants MUST WAIT UNTIL THE PREVIOUS SEMESTER’S GRADES ARE RECEIVED before submitting their application. If grades are still unavailable during the application period, please immediately notify the Office of International Affairs (OIA).
  2. [NO DUPLICATE APPLICATIONS] University-level exchange students who have checked the subsidy box in the “Exchange Application System” MUST NOT RE-APPLY using the “Scholarship Application System” afterward, to prevent data errors.
  3. [COLLEGE NOMINEE REMINDER] All confirmed nominees selected by the College are URGED to submit their subsidy application by the deadline (May 4, 115) as required.
  4. [REQUIRED DOCUMENTS] In addition to the documents required by the OIA system, the additional supporting documents required by the College for this round will be published when the system opens. Please combine all required documents into A SINGLE PDF FILE for upload.
