✳ 計畫簡介 / Program Overview
東北大學（Tohoku University）Junior Year Program in English (JYPE) 為理、工、農等領域學生提供全英語授課的學習與研究機會，學生無需具備日語能力即可修讀各學院開設的專業課程。本計畫以研究訓練為核心，特別適合具有自然科學基礎並期望體驗日本頂尖學術環境的高年級學生申請。
The Junior Year Program in English (JYPE) at Tohoku University offers overseas students an opportunity to take science, engineering, and agriculture courses entirely in English, without requiring Japanese language proficiency. It is designed for upper-level undergraduate students who wish to gain first-hand research experience in Japan’s world-class academic environment.
課程核心為「個別研究訓練（Individual Research Training, IRT）」，學生將分配至研究室，由教授與研究團隊指導，進行與主修領域相關的研究專題。學生亦可選修理學、工學、農學領域之英語課程，並可修習日語與文化課程，深化對日本社會與文化的理解。
The core course of this program is the Individual Research Training (IRT), where students join a research group under faculty supervision to conduct research in their chosen field. In addition, participants may take elective courses in science, engineering, and agriculture, as well as Japanese language and culture classes to promote cultural understanding.

本次為理學院院內提名甄選，本校僅提供名額資格，最終錄取由東北大學審查決定。
This is an internal nomination process conducted by the College of Science.
The College only provides nomination eligibility, and the final decision rests with Tohoku University.
獲得院內提名者方能取得東北大學線上申請系統連結。
Only students who receive the College’s official nomination will be given access to Tohoku University’s online application link.
獲推薦者需於指定期限內自行完成線上填寫。若因個人原因作業不及或未完成申請，視同自動放棄，不得主張任何權益。
Once nominated, students must complete the online application to Tohoku University within the specified period.
Failure to complete the process due to personal reasons will be regarded as withdrawal, and the applicant will forfeit the nomination without the right to appeal.
